Little Family Update.

Amelia: Amelia is now 7 months old. She is a little trouble maker already. She is pretty much crawling and can make it up the two little steps in our front room. She also stands in her bed, so we had to lower the bed. She is always such a happy baby and smiling.

Elijah: Elijah will be 2 in less than 3 months. (I can't believe it!) We are working on potty training with him. Most days aren't a success, but he is trying. He is a lilt cany aholic(Thanks to Grandma). He is really becoming a great big brother and Mommie's little helper.

Charlie: Charlie is still working at the Junction. Busy busy busy all the time. He applied for a job at our local hospital. He as an interview on Thursday(Wish us luck). Hopefully it pays a little more and he will actually have closer to a 9-5 job.

Me: I am still working on school. Not doing too bad. I having a drawing class right now. Its not my favorite class, but its ok. The whole family has been sick with some kind of cold/allergies, so that is what I have been doing.

Wednesdays for Wyatt

It’s official... Today is our very first post for Wednesdays for Wyatt! Thank you for coming over and participating.
It’s quite simple to participate. All you have to do is copy and paste this post on your blog, and come back here to link up with MckLinky! Once you do that, your all set to win this first ever Wednesday’s for Wyatt giveaway. Let make this a huge success, shall we?

For those of you who are not familiar with my family and what we are trying to achieve, here’s a brief run down...
Our son Wyatt was diagnosed with a fatal condition at our 18 week ultrasound, but chose to carry him to term. We waited to meet our son with love, all the time praying we would get to see him alive.
On June 1, 2009, Wyatt made his way into the world by c-section. To our amazement he had a faint heartbeat and was breathing! He died two minutes later, but I’ve clung to the two minutes my son and I breathed the same air since his passing.
Upon calling to get a copy of Wyatt’s birth certificate, I found out he was listed as a stillborn. You would assume it was a mistake (like I did), but there was no mistake. According to the definition of live birth in Tennessee my son was not “alive enough” to be deemed a live born baby. His two minutes of life has gone unrecognized by my state, and I intend to change this piece of legislation so I can solidify the validity of my son’s short life.
Wednesdays for Wyatt was created to help spread awareness for a law that needs to be changed, as well as to generate more traffic to my petition. So if you’re reading this, thanks for taking the time to help our family!
We are currently up to 1,253 signatures. Hurray! We’ve made it over my initial goal of 1,000 signatures, and now I’m dreaming big! You think you can help me get 5,000 signatures by Thanksgiving? I bet you could, and I hope this Wednesdays for Wyatt helps out tremendously. Post this to your blogs, facebook, myspace... wherever you can think of. I can’t wait to see how many more signatures we receive from this. I have a great feeling!
The contest will only be open today. You have until 11:59 pm to post this on your blog and come back here to link up with MckLinky in order to qualify for this Wednesdays for Wyatt giveaway. Good luck everybody and thanks for participating.

Caught Up

I am still trying to get caught up from our 6 hour trip to Missouri. We had a blast though and I can`t wait to go back. We hadn`t seen any of them in a year and a half. Plus it was a nice break away. Here are some pics from our trip and the wedding.

Wow what a month..

It has been super busy since I last wrote. We went to the dinner party on Saturday. It was very interesting. We listened to a guy named Dr. Young. It was a book release for his Bible translation. I learned some very interesting stuff. Here are some photos from it.

Sunday we went to our usual Bible study routine. It was great to get back. We had missed them

Monday and Tuesday were fair days. It was so much fun! Eli said look at everything. He was ecxited. We saw Mercy Me in concert on Monday. It was awesome. Tuesday we just walked around. I have some pics from that also.

Monday also started my new class. Its a Drawing class. Not really looking foward to that. I have no artistic skills in my body. I guess it is a learning expierence though.

Tomorrow we are leaving for Marble Hill, MO. Our friend Tim is getting married. I am so excited to see them! It has been a year and half. We will be there all weekend.

Thats about all for now. I told you it has been a busy time. Hope everyone is doing well.

Doc Day.

Amelia had a doctors appointment today for the hemangioma on her face. The doc said that is wasnt affecting her ear, but it was getting into a saliva gland.(wasnt a big deal though.) He said it should stop growing by 1, but that he has never seen one with such a big mass under the lil red dot. He is going to go ahead and send her to OKC to OU Medical to have it checked out. He said they aren't set up around her for that small of children. I guess we will see what happens then.
