House, Cars, and Everything else...

Well we decided not to buy a house. Its just not going to happen for us at this time. We did find a program through the Cherokee Nation that will repair a house or rebuild it if there is too much damage. Since the house was ours, just not in our name yet, my mother in-law is in the process of getting that switched over now. We will either have a new home or a fixed one in the somewhat near future!
We weren't able to get the mini van I really wanted. We looked around and found a older one that is still in pretty good condition. We got an '01 Chrysler Town and Country. So far I love it. Its so much roomier than the little Taurus we had. It also doesn't vibrate as bad.
As far as the whole credit mess up, we are still working on that. We keep getting the run around from everyone. As far as our lawyer is concerned, it is not our problem. He sent them a check and received a letter saying everything was in good standing. We will see.

For a Family update:

Elijah: Eli is doing good. His terrible twos have really kicked in and his temper tantrums and not behaving are really getting him in some trouble. He also has quit an attitude that doesn't help. We are still trying to get him to use the potty. Not working so well. I think we are going to try to get him a little seat to put by ours. Right now we just have to toilet adapter thingy.

Amelia: Millie is doing great also. She is getting so big and learning so much. She now says momma, dadda, and hi. I think she has decided she doesn't want to walk anymore. We haven't been able to get her to take anymore steps. Oh well, she has time.

Charlie: Charlie is working working working. Seems like they have a lot of projects going on at work. He has also been doing a few side jobs here and there. He is also trying to get enrolled back in school. We have to get some thing worked out with financial aid.

Me: I am still in school. It is going pretty good. Other than that I keep busy with the kids, running errands, and KGB. I am thinking about taking up a job at a place I use to work. They are hiring for a house manager and also in the house a friend works at. We will see.

Amelia's Appintment and More

We drove down to OKC Thursday night after Charlie got off work. We stayed the night at a hotel and got up at 6 am Friday morning. We arrived at the OU Childrens Hospital and didn't have to wait long. They took us back and got her weight and everything. Then they tried to put the IV in. The stuck her 4 times and still didn't get it. Her veins blew every time. They had to bring an ultrasound machine in to get it.
After that, they took her to the MRI room and put her to sleep. About and hour and a half later the came out to get us. We went back there and my poor baby girl was peacefully sleeping. She woke up and was a little woozy. They said everything looked good and that we didnt need to come back until Jan of next year.
After the appointments we drove to UCO in Edmond to meet up with a friend. We all decided to go get some lunch. That was a fun and refreshing time. We hadn't seen her in a few months. Then we loaded up and headed toward Enid.
We got to Enid and visited my cousin there. He has bone cancer and we were waiting for the results. They hadnt came in, so we visit for a little while and headed back.
When we got to Tulsa we decided it was time for dinner. Since the kids had been good and kept up in the car or a place that couldnt run around, we decided to take them to Chuck E Cheese. They had a good time.
We got home about 1 am Sat. morning. Slept in until about 11am. We called about our house and that is going to have to go on hold. Too much is going on with our credit that we are going to have to get figured out. It is also keeping us from getting a car. It is bumming me out a little, but we are just going to have to get everything figured out.
Well, that is about all there is to tell for now.

More on the house...

Well more problems have came up while trying to get this house. According to our credit report, we will have to pay around 600 a month back in student loans, when Charlie gets out of school. That makes our debt to income very high. We think we have got that figured out now. We are going to try to enroll in a Income Based Repayment thing Sallie Mae has. There is still a little hope. Hopefully we will find something out tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Stressful Times...

A lot has been going on around here lately and it has been rather stressful. Things are getting better though. Let me give you an update on everyone.

Amelia: Amelia is now 10 months old. She has 2 teeth and is speed crawling like crazy. On Sunday she took her first few steps. Makes me sad. She is growing up too fast :( She goes back to the doctor in OKC on the 22nd to have a MRI done on her face. I guess they will tell us where we are going from there.

Elijah: Elijah turned 2 on the 5th. We had a little get together for him at Chuck E Cheese on his birthday. On Sat. we had a pizza party at Pizza Hut with all our friends and family. He had a blast and enjoyed is toys. Hopefully soon we can start the potty training process. Wish us luck.

Charlie: Charlie is still working at the internet company. He recieved a letter saying he didnt get the job in MO. I was a little bummed, but came to the conclusion that God must want us to stay here.

Myself: I have been struggling here lately. The devil has been getting to me with stress, depression, and wants. I had a good church study Sunday night and it is helping me though. Im just getting frustrated with things not going my way, and of course that is not going to work. It will go Gods way. It seems that the IUD I had, has thrown my cycles off and is causing me much frustration.

The Family: We are all doing good as a whole. We are looking into purchasing a house. We are pretty much approved through the company. We are just waiting on the Cherokee Nation to approve us for some help. Wish us luck on that. It would be an awesome thing to have.

My little Man is 2!

I can't believe Eli is already two years old. He turned 2 on the 5th. We took him to Chuck E Cheese that night with my mom and little sis. He had a blast eating pizza, blowing out his candles, and playing games. We are having his big party on Saturday at Pizza Hut. It is Ice Age 3 theme. I ca't wait. Here are some pics from Tues.

Christmas and New Year

We did our Christmas the Sunday before Christmas. We had my Mom, little sister, and some cousins over, made a big dinner and opened gifts. We were supposed to go the inlaws on Christmas day, but we got like 8in of snow and couldnt get there. It was ok though. We stayed home and just had family time. Here are some pics from our family Christmas....
