2 years!

I can't believe that in June, I will have been blogging for 2 yrs. I am not a avid blogger as some of you are, but I am glad I have this as an outlet. Thanks to all of you have been keeping up with me.

Back From the Docs

So, I went to the doctors yesterday. They did the normal yearly thing and took 6 vials of blood for testing. She is pretty sure I am not ovulating. They are testing my hormones, thyroid, and I dont know what else. I have been put on Provera to start my period back up, since I am on day 53 with nothing. The doctor said the wasn't too worried about it, but she wanted to check everything out just to make sure since I had the IUD and problems with it. She also said it was a little problem if I wanted any more kids. She said I had a few options....that if we wanted more kids and anytime soon that she would give me Chlomid and see if we could get me pregnant. We would also see if that straightened me back out. If we were sure we didnt want more kids for quite a while then she would do other things, but we wouldn't be able to conceive for a while. We decided on Chlomid and trying to get pregnant. If I do get pregnant, and it doesn't straighten things out afterward, we will go from there. I should also know something about the test results in a few days. (If anything comes back abnormal) Please pray for us as I start this medicine. It is all new to me and kind of scary.

Kind of Scared

I have a Gynecologist appointment coming up on Tues. I am a little nervous about it. I am afraid they might tell me something is wrong. I haven't had a normal cycle since I had the IUD taken out in July of 09. I also have some other issues that have been going along with it. I know it is all in God's hands and it will be fine. Its just kind of scary.

Snowed In

Since 11pm, last night, we have gotten 13" of snow. We had what qualified as a blizzard and most of the state is shut down. The road crews aren't even out. There is no point. It has ran around 11 degrees with a windchill of negative 8. Tomorrow wont be much better and it is supposed to get to negative 4 over night.

The kids and I went out to play for all of 2 minutes today. Here are some pictures.

The Appointment

It went well. Doctor said that it seems to be the same size and that there still isnt anything to worry about. We go back in a year to have it checked again. If it hasnt shrunk any by then, we wills start talking options.

While we were in OKC we got to meet up with a few friends and one of my aunts. It was nice to get together. We also did some shopping while we there. Overall, it was a great weekend.

Parties, Doctors and Weddings.

Amelia has her yearly appointment, for her cheek, on Friday. Will be heading to OKC for the weekend. I think it has stopped shrinking, so I am not sure what they will do. Probably just keep a watch on it, but who knows. After her appointment we plan to visit with a few friends in the area. I can't wait.

Eli had an awesome birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. He really enjoyed it. He played, was sang to by the mouse, ate pizza, had cake, and opened gifts. He absolutely loved them all. I have never seen him so excited. Here are some pics

I have been keeping myself busy helping a friend with her wedding. It has been fun. Makes me think about becoming a wedding consultant. Great money and lets me use my creative side.

The New Year...

It has been quite eventful already. New Years Eve we went to a friends house and ate and watched the ball drop. Then we played The Newly Wed game. It was pretty fun actually. Then on the 1st Eli ran his head into a desk at a Verizon store and game himself a nasty bump. Later that evening, Amelia fell backwards and knocked herself out. It was so scary. She stopped breathing, her eyes rolled back, and she passed out. We rushed her to the ER and she is fine. I have such clumsy children.

I said I wasn't going to do any resolutions, but I decided to go ahead with a few.

1. Read the Bible more
2. Eat healthier
3. Get the family on a schedule and in a routine.

Eli's 3rd birthday is tomorrow. I cant believe he is already 3. We took him to Chuck E Cheese tonight with my mom and little sister. My sister has to work during his party, so she wanted to do something with him. He had a lot of fun.
